Holiday Inn is of course, nothing fancy...hotel furnishing are dated and the elevator makes creaky noises but the location of this hotel is outstanding...a few minutes walking time will get you to the Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, Buena Vista Cafe or a Muni stop. This Holiday Inn is split into two buildings with a street between the two. We stayed in the building that has a Denny's Restaurant (can't comment on the restaurant, did not eat there). Parking was a little expensive $* a day; however, I hear parking is expensive in San Francisco. Would stay again based on location.

The Inn was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, usually my back hurts in a hotel bed. It was in walking distance to the wharf, etc. We didn't rent a car, so that was good. It was a very enjoyable trip The time of the flight back I didn't like, it was to late

My husband and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The only problem we had with the hotel is that there are 2 separate buildings of rooms - the main building where we checked in, then another building across the street. We checked into the hotel and then when they gave us our room assignment, we actually had to walk down the block to the building we were booked in. This meant we had to roll and carry any luggage we had to that other building. We also had to park our car in the garage of the main building - so whenever we wanted our car we had to walk to the main building and into the garage. this is a nice hotel for the money and is located two blocks from fisherman's wharf. There is a walgreens right around the corner in case you forgot anything and great restaurants all around it. However, if I were staying there again, I would ask to be put in a room in the main building.
