  We booked our room a few weeks in advanced, and when we arrived at 3:15pm we wanted to take a fast look at the room first. We were handed the keys...the room looked ok smelled really bad of smoke, but what ever we decided to take the room, when we went back to the desk, the kids that were working the front desk that day informed us that a man who was there a HOUR ago had asked them to hold that room for him and he had just returned. So now we had to go look at the second room and am very glad we did...the room was a mess the bed was not made there was juice on the table butts in the ashtray and the garbages were full. When we told the kids at the front desk they then said that they had to look into it and came back to tell us that we would have to wait 20mins for them to clean the room, my concern was what if we walked in on someone or if we were staying there and they gave our room key to someone else. It was 3:15pm you mean to tell me you don't have 1 room clean, and they said no that we would have to wait. Needless to say we did not stay there at all we found a over sized, and very clean room at the BEST WESTERN.......they did how ever send us a fee night stay at any red roof....but we won't be using it I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR

  The hotel was selected for its location, which was near my son's apartment. It was advertise as a non-smoking room. On enterring the premises, it was obvious this had not always been the case as the smell of smoke was embedded in everything in the room. The room was not well-cleaned -- carpet needed vaccuuming, one of the lights didn't work, and the television set-up forces you to always go through the menu when changing the ""free"" stations. I would not choose this location again.
