I stayed here with one of my friends and his 2 boys for a dockdogs tournament in Gonzales. While at this red roof our friends booked on the east side of the hotel watched at least 4 drug deals and one truck get broken into. My room's faucet had bad leaks and we had to put the ice bucket beneath the sink to catch the water and the tv was worthless without the remote , due to none of the manual buttons working.

I have stayed at this hotel 2 to 3 times a week for months. They have hired new help in the front that has to be the rudest I have ever seen. I was 6 min. late checking out because I was going to stay another night until the front desk called the room to say ""you have 4 min. to check out or pay for another night or I will have the police remove you"". This was of course my last stay! I packed up and went to the Motel 8 across the street for GREAT customer service.
