Stayed one night and was very impressed by this hotel - very clean and friendly, you can tell the manager and employees take pride in the place. The "new" updated rooms they are promoting really were a surprise considering the cheap rate.

I stayed at the Quality Inn on the nest exit (Bardstown) for 1 night and the room and hotel was awful! I moved over to this Hotel and what an improvement. I would have never expected a Red Roof Inn to surpass a Quality Inn, but it did. My room was clean, newly renovated and spacious. Interstate noise is always an issue (with any hotel just off an interstate), but I still enjoyed my visit. In all fairness, I must point out that the photos posted on Travelocity for this property, are not of this property (the exterior photo and lobby photo are of another Red Roof Inn), but the room was the same as pictured.

Asked for special room on corner to avoid noise ,and instead had a group of motorcycles stay next to my room and underneath since I was on second floor ,this group of people hung out in parking lot burning rubber,playing loud music at one point so loud I could,nt hear the t.v and talking very loud They did this from 5pm till 4am,staff was rude acted like it was my problem and did very little if nothing of the situation, and it gets better when I check-out the next day I, did receive 2hrs after checkout because I wanting cash not a check which inconvenient me to have to go back to hotel .I would give this hotel a F in service and won't be staying there again.

We stayed here years ago and it was OK, but hadn't returned to the area. A snowstorm forced us to stop, and this was convenient. We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms recently redone, everything very clean, and a courteous desk staff. Although near the interstate, our room was quiet. Not much in extras, as expected, but a great basic room.
