AAA gave this hotel 3 stars. I would give it one star. The sheets and bedspread did not look clean. The bathtub was filthy. The bathroom floors and walls were dirty and moldy. The whole room needed painting. The carpet seemed damp and smelled bad.

During our first visit we stayed at the NOrth location thinking it was closer to FSU. This is much nicer but both seem to have a mildew smell. The room we stayed in had water damage that was noticable but we were told that the building will be remodeled soon. WE got a little tired of the breakfast and we were happy to go next door to the IHOP, It was opened late too for a snack.

Well kept, clean, comfortable room. Great location near restaurants and large shopping mall. Right next door to IHOP in case you miss the free continental breakfast. Good value. Helpful front desk gave good directions. Would stay here again.

We stayed here on our return from Disney World and it was a wakeup call back to the real world. Don't be deceived by the attractive-enough exterior, the La Quinta name and the good rates. We arrived after 11 p.m. and were too tired to keep looking, but it was a dump. There was mold around the room, the room a/c was inefficient and the room was so humid and uncomfortable. The floors were dirty with plastic things, crumbs and who knows what else. The staff was nice and apologetic for the property's condition. We looked at two other rooms. One had better beds but smelled of smoke, although the property is supposed to be non-smoking. The second had the same thin, nasty little beds and dirty floors. The next morning we saw a Hampton down the street and wished we'd looked into that one. We didn't sleep well, which meant we wound up sleeping longer to prepare for our 16-hour drive.
