clean room was average. had an issue with toilet within the first thirty minutes but it was quickly resolved! breakfast was good.the pool was excellent.mapquest drirections were horrible. but once i found it, it is close to many area functions.i would stay again

Arrived-they gave us a smoking room-it stunk like an old cigar. Desk clerk couldn't/wouldn't find us a non smoker. I left the windows open all night,every night to get rid of the stench. The problem is that the smell pervades the sheets and blankets. There was a cigarette butt on the floor under the bed-I wasn't picking it up- it was still there 3 days later..... Cigarette burn marks on the dressers, side of the bath. The furniture was old and tatty, and the wallpaper is peeling off the wall just above the air conditioner. The whole 4th floor smelled of tobacco. I didn't bother about changing rooms-I figured they were all as bad. There were guests with dogs who were barking, and a family decided to have a 'domestic dispute' in the hallway, just outside my door resulting in a call to security. Some of the guests kids were having a field day outside squashing the small creamer containers to make them explode. Not trying to be snobbish here, but I'll give this kid of place a miss in future. I stay at La Quinta quite a bit, a member of their 'returns' program. I won't be returning here. Altogether, an unforgettable weekend. If there is one saving grace-the ladies in the dining area were sweethearts!

The hotel was clean and the front office staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many questions about how their hotel is posted and what is reality. I asked for a non smoking suite and despite confirmation, the suite was not available in non smoking, so I was transferred to a king size regular room at same price. They claim they have renovated the hotel, but I would hate to see what it looked like prior. The hot tub was supposedly being repaired. The breakfast was not really worth anything and the food was stale. Their selection was very limited, and I would be prepared to eat some place else. I also found that the hours of service was very short, especially if you arrive late at night and want to try to catch up on any sleep, or you need to be somewhere in the AM. Their internet service was on accessible in the lobby by myself and many others, although my wife had limited service on her Apple. Several plugs did not work and were never repaired. Towel selection was minimal. The toilet leaked from the back and never repaired. Security was poor, especially if you did not shut the outside door behind you, It failed to lock on almost every occasion I went in or out, and this was true for everyone. I have stayed in many hotel chains and have found many La Quintas slipping in their quality. For a night's sleep, it was OK, but nothing special stands out.

This place claims to be pet friendly but that is only if they don't see or hear your pet. The staff wasn't very friendly. The bed in the first room was so hard that neither one of us got any sleep and the second room wasn't much better. The security doors don't lock and there are no security cameras. When we turned the air conditioner on it smelled like cat urine. This place was supposed to have recently been remodled but you wouldn't know it by the banged up doors. Needless to say, we will never stay at this motel again.
