My DH and I had a very early flight out of Orlando airport so we decided to stay overnight at a hotel nearby. Based on price, reviews, location, and the fact that DH is partial to La Quinta I made a reservation online. I was pleased with our choice and would stay there again. The hotel was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. All of the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and modern. Our room was handicapped-accessible, because that was the only non-smoking king available at the time, so keep in mind that our room may have been configured slightly differently than a standard room. Anyway, the room was clean and good sized and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and roomy with a no-sill shower, although that might have been part of the handicapped-accessible arrangement. We didn't use the pool or anything like that, so I can't comment on those. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport that starts at 5:00 a.m. but we didn't use it. A continental breakfast was served in the morning, I think starting at 6, consisting of bagels and self-made waffles. I took off a star for the lack of food choices - no fruit, cereal, or anything else. The walls were also rather thin and it was easy to hear what was going on in the room next to you. And occasionally you could hear jets taking off and landing, but that's to be expected when staying next to an airport. Make sure you park under a light, though. A car a couple of spaces from ours had the window broken out during the night.

La Quinta definitely met my expectations. I was just staying overnight in Orlando before going on a cruise and needed to be near the airport where I would be meeting the rest of my party. One of the primary reasons I chose this hotel was because it was one of the few in the area that had its own complimentary shuttle. Shuttle service was quick and easy. The room was nice--large and comfortable. Only minor issue was that the tv picture quality was terrible. Staff weren't overly friendly, but service was adequate. And, it was nice that the hotel was within walking distance of a Fridays Restaurant. Don't know if I would stay here if I were staying in Orlando for a longer period of time, but for a place to crash overnight, it was fine and I would stay again.

Typically hotels close to the airport are inexpensive and used for convenience only. However, even though this was the case for my sister and I, our stay at the La Quinta in Orlando was very pleasant. The front desk clerk was very helpful and nice; the shuttle drivers were friendly and were easy to reach when needing the pick up at the airport. Our room was clean and had several welcome amenities. Although we were rushed in the morning, the continental breakfast was appealing and plentiful. For the price, we would definitely stay there again.

I stayed 1 night at this hotel and flew out of Orlando Airport. The staff is extreamly helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. I am a female traveling alone, and felt very safe. I left my car at the hotel, and took the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle left on time and picked me up on time and brought me back to the hotel where I picked up my car. I was able to leave my car there for free, and that was a huge item. I have recommended this hotel to several of my friends, and anyone who has stayed here has been very happy. The free breakfast was a nice plus. The pool is outdoors, and I found it to be clean and was happy with it. The fitness room is very small, but depending on what you need, it has basic equiptment. Keep up the good work La Quinta!!!!!! I will be back.

I stayed 1 night at this hotel and flew out of Orlando Airport. The staff is extreamly helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. I am a female traveling alone, and felt very safe. I left my car at the hotel, and took the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle left on time and picked me up on time and brought me back to the hotel where I picked up my car.
