The room was beautiful and luxuriously appointed.The linens were comfortable.The staff was accommodating and quick to respond.The location was great although when I stayed there some work was being done at the front entrance,but exiting through an alternate route was no problem.There was some noise on my first night there,but it seems to have been due to staff opening up suites and soon subsided.I thought that the room were on par with the Hay Adams and I would definitely stay here again.The location is within walking distance of the White House and other historic sites.

Excellent choice. The hotel is 2 blocks from the White House. The service is excellent; they will do whatever they need to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. And most of all, the butler service was admirable.

My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis. We knew of the great location close to everything and the fine hotel amenities, but we were very impressed with the first class service provided by every member of the hotel staff. The front desk team ensured we had everything we needed and made us comfrotable after our drive to town. The doorman made a fine recommendation for lunch. The restaurant had a well constructed breakfast with superior, fresh ingredients. We will be back!
