I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof Inn. I was glad to find another hotel that was comfortable and in close proximity to all the sights in DC. The only issue I had with the hotel is that upon check out they tried to charge me $3.53 for a long distance phone call made from my room. The call was made at 2:15pm and we left the room at 11:00 am and did not return until midnight. Obviously one of their not so honest employees was the culprit. In any case after firmly letting them know that we did not make any phone call and telling them to call the number to prove they did not know us, the charges were removed. The bathrooms were really nice!

The hotel was close to the Metro and to points of interest. I was clean and the staff attentive. Take care if you are traveling for business that they book you away from the frequent school trips. The sound proofing is poor between rooms. The price is much much more affordable than the central and fancy hotels with few perks. It worked just fine for me.

For a hotel in the middle of a major city, I believe the hotel was a good value. The hotel is not fancy, However the location is close to most attractions. Our room was clean & the pub off the lobby had entertainment Fri. & Sat. night. I would Stay there again.

This hotel is a great value and conveniently located in the heart of DC's trendy Chinatown, close to all kinds of restaurants / shopping. It is w/in walking distance to the subway, Court of Appeals, mall museums, and convention center. My room was small but comfortable and clean and the bathroom had been remodeled, with pleasant decor. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and were friendly and accomodating with all requests. Best of all, this location made renting a car unnecessary (local metro station connects directly to Reagan National airport).

This was a good hotel for the price. Lots of food choices burger king, quiznos, the pub and lots of chinese restraunts. Walking distances to Verizion Center and some muesums. Rooms were nice but, could have used a fridge and showers were luke warm at best.
