We drive from New England on our way to Florida twice a year with a dog and child. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and smoke free. Granted it's not the Four Seasons but for $* on average per night we are very pleased.

Hotel check-in was quick, mostly becuase of the online travel website. Got to the room and found the bathroom had a large amount of poop in it and it had been there for awhile. The room was small; we were constantly asking each other to move out of the way and with limited floor space it got cluttered really quickly. In the morning a staff member was blowing off the sidewalk at 8 am when I was getting up. I even started my car twice because I could hear the car running and I didn't check out til 12, so the noise was constant. On the upside, the cont. breakfast was good and had many chioces, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean. There was a stain in the tub when we checked in. It was as big as a quarter. I wonder if it was coffee stain. It was washed off during the shower and my husband considered it rust. There was hair on the towel rack. The hallway/stairs was a bit dirty. I liked LaQuinta after trying the one near the air port in Salt Lake City. But this one is not as good. I won't stay in it again. The ""High Speed Internet"" was horribly slow. I relied on it for work, and I gave up.

Ater driving for several hours after work, it was late and I was looking forward to crashing. I got to the hotel and there was no one in the lobby for like 10 minutes. I went behind the desk, knocking on doors, making noise and no one came out. Just as I was trying to call the main hotel operator on my cell phone the front desk employee finally came in the front door from who knows where. I got into the hotel room and it smelled quite unpleasant, a mix of odors that have been unsuccessfully covered up with some kind of airfreshener so that you got to enjoy both smells. The bathroom had hair from various body parts on the floor and therewas some nasty bug squished on the wall. The coffee pot still has coffee in it from the last guests and was never cleaned out. Disgusting and dissatisfied. I don't think I will stay here again. Not up to par with LaQuinta standards I have seen elsewhere.

Would not stay here again, even if it was free. The rooms were small and very dirty. We would have to make several requests in order to get additional towels. When we had an issue with our air conditioner burning, I called the front desk right away and she said they would have someone right up. 30 minutes later, no one had arrived. My kids and I vacated the room and went to the front desk to request assistance in person. It still took another 30 minutes for someone to take a look at the unit. If you plan on going down for breakfast anywhere near the closing time (9:30 a.m.) don't expect much food to be left, and they won't replenish anything.
