I stayed one night in four different hotels on this trip--this being the last--and I think I will seek out La Quinta in the future. The value for the money was perfect, comparing it to a Day Inn in Cedar City Utah for the same price. There is no comparison. The room was new, clean, well appointed for the * range. I was surprised to find an On Demand movie system AND Nintendo. It was just what I needed after a very emotionally charged trip. The only things were there was a big wet spot on the carpet. The kind you only find with stocking feet, ew! I determined that they had cleaned a spot and it hadn't dried yet. The other thing, and this is really petty, is the vending machines. On my floor you pay $1.00 for a 12 oz. can of soda. But I had to go to the desk for change and found the vending down there had the 20oz bottles for $1.25.and they have other machines with better snacks. The lack on consistency bothered me.

I stayed over the balloon fiesta weekend and reserved a suite, I was told the room was not clean and to check back in an hour, after an hour past I went back and was told it still wasn't clean and to check back in another hour, I gave them two hours and called before driving back from Old Town,when I called the front desk couldn't find my reservation and said I didn't have a reservation even when I gave him the confirmation number, finally he found it and told me the room was still not clean, after waiting until almost until 6pm the room was ready, I had a suite but the noise from the freeway was not worth the stay or the trouble I went through to get the room. I would not recommend the stay. I have a corporate account with La Quinta and have pulled my account away from them!!!

Don't get a room on the North side of the building because you will listen to trucks on the Interstate all night if you do. Nice room that was very clean. Not great value for the cost of the room, however

Great hotel for weekend

The hotel and our room was exceptionally nice, like a much more expensive hotel. Good security and well lit in the parking lot. Didn't use the pool or excersize room, but they both appeared well kept and clean. Nice gazebo like in their pictures, very nice continental breakfast bar with a nice variety of items. Would highly recommend and will stay again next time.

Had 2 rooms (suites) on different floors. One was ok, but the other had not been cleaned and had linen piled on the bed and trash cans still full, desk was notified immediately and informed us they could do nothing to clean the room, and would assigned us a different room. They assigned us to a lessor room on the other side of the hotel which was clean, but only had one good light bulb in the whole room.
