hotel staff turned us away for 2 and a half hours despite having reserved a room online because they were full. once they let us in, they gave us keys that they later admitted didn't work - so they sent someone to ""rekey"" the door. they lied about fitness center and pool - the hotel has neither. worst place ive stayed at.

The last time I stayed at this hotel, was approximately 3 years ago and since then, it has gone down dramatically. The first day, I had to walk from the back of the hotel to the front to pick up towels when towels should have already been in the room as I made reversations months ago. That was the first strike. The front desk had to called again and asked that the sheets be changed, they were never changed. An excellent hotel changes sheets every day, a good hotel will changes sheets every other day. This hotel never changed the sheets during the entire stay. When had to room cleaned, housekeeping failed to leave any towels and again, we called the front desk; after an hour or so and another call, they delivered the towels. The shower curtain had mold spots, at least two near the top, sand or something was in the bathtub but the toilet had not been cleaned. I went to the store to purchase my own cleaning products and clean the room myself. We used the ice bucket, housekeeping took the plastic bag for the but and never gave us a new one. The sink area was never cleaned. The pool water was so muddy and dirty til you could never see the bottom of the pool. There was no microwave, no fridge and no elevators. Since it was hot, the air stayed on, many of the units leaked which saturated the small mats and caused water to leaked and drip all over, as a result, someone could have been fatally shocked. This hotel was so nice when at one time, what happened? I'm glad my stay is over and I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Service was awful. Remove this hotel.

I think this is the best deal in town. I was a little worried about staying here but I'm glad I tried it. We did have some hitches. One morning I asked the maid to wait till later to clean our room because my kids were still sleeping and she never came back to clean it that day. The next day they apparently missed cleaning because we were in the room at the time they came. But when I called and asked for them to come they took care of it right away and did a good job.
I felt safe there. It was quiet the weekend we were there. I found the staff agreeable to helping me any time I needed them.
Perhaps there would be better care somewhere else for more money but I was satisfied. -

I have stayed at this place four times before only because I travel with a small pet and need a motel that's pet friendly. My first stay about 2 years ago was the best. When I told a local where I stayed they were supprised I liked it. Over the last couple years this place went down hill fast. On my last visit I arrived at midnight only to find they gave away my two double bed room, but offered me an uncleaned room!! They then offered me a cleaned smoking room king room (nice of them to clean the room). After much assurance from the cleark, I took the key only to check it out. I ended up walking in on a couple, sorry! Luckily I didn't get shot. There were seveal rooms boarded up and the place was dirty with several brokendown cars in the parking lot. Never again.

La Quinta has a good reputation and this Inn only adds to that. The room value is outstanding compaired to others around town. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff attended to my needs beyond my expectations. The coffee pot was missing and one was delivered with extra coffee. Nice and clean room with microwave and ref were perks. The room airconditioner was up to date with a digital thermastat. Set the temp and enjoy a comfortable night. Window treatment were three layers thick; sheers, blackout and side panels. I felt relaxed and treated like a valued guest. Thanks, I hope to see you again.
