Terrible! Left after 1 night!

I had a reservation for 4 nights and I checked out after 1. The bathroom floor was dirty...I swiped a towel across the floor and the towel was dirty. When I woke up, I had little red bumps/bites on my arm. I was so grossed out, I wouldn't even take a shower in the dirty bathroom. The lobby and the conference room were nice and updated, however the rooms and the rest of the hotel were still old and smelled musty (my shirt even smelled musty the next day). I ended up going to another hotel which I spent a little bit more but had none of the same problems that I had at the Clarion. Also, this hotel is on one of the worst streets in Tampa. I did not feel safe walking outside around the hotel. Please do not stay here if you are looking for a nice, safe, clean place to stay!

We loved the Clarion Hotel. The room was great with a comfortable king bed, microwave and refrigerator. The Atrium in the center of the hotel was magnificant. There was a huge pool and a second pool for children. Unfortunately, it was cool while we there and we unable to enjoy the pool or the beautiful setting. We had a great hot breakfast which is included. We certainly will return.

This hotel has severe plumbing problems, we complained to travel website and were moved to another room, problems continued. Toilet flushed poorly, tub drain was very slow, room not cleaned at all one night, towels not left after it was cleaned another day. There is no way I would stay at this facility again. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I was very disappointed that the only solution offered by travel website when I complained and requested a move to another facility was another room in the same hotel. This was like changing tables in a restaurant when the food and service is bad. The next time I will make my own hotel reservations so that I have the freedom to move if the facility is a disappointment.

We went to Busch Gardens for the weekend. This hotel was very close. The staff was receptive. Hotel pool was great for the kids. Stayed in regular hotel room which was clean. We had a great time and I felt that it was a good value for the money that we paid. I would definitely go back again.

Have stayed in the past and can't believe how much a difference the renovations have made. New beds are comfortable and the carpeting and new furniture make for a classy environment. I'll definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
