The Sheraton Boston Hotel was a good choice for a tourist wanting to see Boston. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was helpful; although the room was a little crowded. The furnishings and bedding were attractive and the Starbucks coffee in the room was a step up from most in-room coffee. The Prudential Center was located at the hotel and an entire shopping mall with everything in it was right there. It was a bit of a walk to the historical district, but manageable. Also, the tourist trolly picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel, and the tickets could be purchased from the front desk. We found small, locally owned restaurants nearby, and we were very happy for the 3 days we spent in town.

I am a little disappointed in our recent stay in your hotel. We were there last weekend for our daughter's graduation. The hotel itself was very nice and conveniently located for us but I have two complaints. When we were checking in we were not informed about the benefits of staying on the club level i.e. breakfast or any other benefits. As a result we went out and paid for breakfast for all of the days we were there. Also, upon check in we requested a different type of room for our two adult daughters and were graciously accommodated, however their ""standard"" room had a nicer bathroom and significantly nicer shower than ours. The check in person did mention that our daughters would have the same privileges as us since they were originally booked onto the club level as well and that is what was paid for... but no one mentioned what those privileges were (another chance to mention the breakfast.) The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were great and I know graduation weekend is busy for everyone but I was a little surprised at the error, especially coming from a Sheraton, which I considered an upper end hotel.. thanks for your kind attention ,

I thought the location was very convenient. Why bother taking the G-line to a Sox game when you can avoid the crowd and transfers by walking (about a mile or so). Received instructions from the hotel. There's shopping to the done, plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Prudential Tower is right there. There are at least 3 stops for whichever tour you might be interested. Be wary of the ticket kiosks There's even a grocery store nearby (Shaw's). Take the Airport shutte (#22) to the Blue-line, transfer to the G-line at the Gov't Ctr, take that to the Prudential (Heath (E), or you could take the Silver-line from the airport, stops at the Red-line, take that to the G-line and so forth. As far as the Hotel, the bathroom fan didn't work. As a result of that, I could see that the bathroom could use some touch up and good cleaning. Otherwise, no complaints except that I didn't have a refrigerator delivered that I had requested. I did report that I had a vending machine eat part of my change (2nd attempt), they were very nice to give back my change and 3 bottles of water. Free 45 minute access in the Lobby. $9.95+ tax for 24-hour access in room. I didn't try Room Service because of the price, walked to the Food Court in the Mall or choose 1 of the restaurants.

The hotel was located in a great place where you could easily catch public transport. This would have to be it's number one draw. Besides that, the hotel was nothing fancy. It is your average hotel that caters to business travelers. The rooms were nothing spectacular, but I was on the 17th floor and had a nice view of the city. I had some problems with the plumbing, but it was easily fixed with a call. They offer free Wi-fi on the first floor, but there is a daily rate if you want to use the internet in your room. There is a Starbucks in the hotel which was nice, but the Prudential building is adjacent to the Sheraton so anything you may need is a short distance from your room. Most staff were very helpful, but I did have problems with one concerige staff. It was later in the evening and she may have been waiting for her shift to end... either way, she was rude and abrupt. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. I would stay at this hotel again when visiting Boston.
