Fun Spots hotel is old and nothing is updated. The hotel appears unclean and unsafe. There is an aray of various seedy characters that stay there (some for very long periods of time, that are obviously not tourists) are sure to make you feel unconfortable any time of day or night. NOTHING WORKS IN THE HOTEL! The shower/bath is so filthy that you will not bath the entire time you are there! The front desk help is swarmy and sarcastic and not much help with anything! THIS PLACE IS GHETTO LAND!!! IT IS AN ATTRACTION ALL TO ITSELF. AN ATTRACTION NOT WORTH VISITING. There are plenty of Hotels generally around the same price that would most likely be a better choice.

I recently booked a 2 week vacation to Orlando through travel website and settled for this hotel. I could barely hear the person at the front desk when I checked us in because of the kids fighting in the lobby. When we drove aroud to find our room we almost vomited at the smell coming from the large pile of garbage bags thrown under the stairways. The door locks did not work and would let anyone in. As we made our way down the hall the smell from dirty garbage and linens outside of the rooms and cigarettes made me extremely frustrated. There was garbage, dirty linens, broken beds and mattresses, and cigarette butts lining the dirty hallway floors. We were afraid to take off our shoes or even sit on the bed in our room and the doorwall lock was broken(on the first floor). This place was dirty all the way around and we never felt safe. It was under construction with boards over some doors and windows and the other people staying made it seem more like a apartment complex then a ""Family Fun Spot"". We immediately called to switch hotels and are very upset that this hotel would even be offered on any site. There was not one positive thing I could possibly say about this place. A trvelers worst nightmare come true.

They take other coupons from other hotels so we were able to stay here for $ and it was GREAT! The room was spotless and the pool was great.I called at 10pm for a crib and it was brought right over.The only downfall was there are people who stay there long term so you dont know there intentions.(a little shady).We stayed up close to the office and felt very safe.I would recomend this to anyone who wants a very clean room for cheap.

I would not recommend it for family visitors with small kids as though it has No Smoking signs all over, i was unhappy to see even smoking in elevators. Rooms were maintained well though. Only smoking all over the place bothered us

Stay away! The bathroom was awful. It had a very strong smell of mold. The faucet would not shut off. There was no way to plug the tub. One day we got back at 10pm and had NO towels. My husband called the front desk and they said we had to wait at least 1/2 hour for someone from security to come in or he could go down and pick them up himself, which he did. No continental breakfast or even free coffee or a restaurant which was stated. You could buy a cup of hot water for 75 cents and they could hand you a tea bag. Bugs in the bathroom. Bedding was filthy and pillows flat. TV had no way to adjust volumn. Balcony was 2 feet deep. Enough for a chair-sideways! Lake shown in photos is a swamp. Could not recommend this EVER! Promised poolview, but that was not what we were given. Went once to look at pool-not bad, but Hot tub was lukewarm. Even though we booked this 6 months in advance, when we checked in, we could not be guaranteed a fridge. STAY AWAY!!!
