I was in Jacksonville for a conference at another hotel that was very expensive, so I was glad I could find a less expensive hotel. This hotel is like Motel 6. The room was adequate and fairly clean, except the lock on the door was not secure. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel is not in the best of neighborhoods, and I would not walk around alone. It is out of the way from downtown. There were no good restaurants within walking distance. The biggest plus was the management personnel, who were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was adequate for a very short stay, but I probably will try to find something better the next time I go to Jacksonville.

We were in Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl and found this hotel on an online travel website. The hotel was an older hotel but it served our needs very well. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were there on New Years Eve and it was VERY noisy throughout the night but the following night was quiet. The hotel gave us choices of transportation to Alltel Stadium which was very helpful since we did not know the area at all. If you are looking to stay at a very nice, fancy, hotel, I would not choose this hotel. However, if you are looking to stay at a hotel that is inexpensive, I would choose this hotel.

i was passing through jacksonville on my way to miami wiyh my family in sep and i stop by at the hotel around 11-00p.m. in the night i got best rate and nice double room non smoking room was recently renovated with new bed and carpet front desk person was pleasent he guide me for dining and i ask for extra towel he provide instantley. breakfast was nice for the price , i recomend this hotel for price and service i will stop by again in the future if i am in this area

The front desk receptionist/manager was very friendly and helpful. We had some confusion with the reservation made with the travel web site, but he took care of the situation in a calm, professional manner. The general vicinity of the hotel was not where I would have chosen if given the time to search for a hotel under normal circumstances. The physical appearance of the hotel was fair to poor, overall. Carpets looked old and dirty; walls, countertops, and doors looked worn and unsecure. Bedding looked comfortable but was stained in some spots. The bathroom and bathtub/shower did not have any visual signs of uncleanliness, but it did not look kept either.
