Stayed for 10 days back in the summer and just felt the need to write a positive review for the hotel. Room we stayed in was quite large and very clean! No bugs or problems like I've read in other reviews. Had a pull out sofa and tv in separate part of room for me to watch tv without bothering my sleeping gf. Bathroom was big and clean. Many drawers for our clothes and excess luggage. Front desk was friendly and helpful. (allowed us to leave our bags behind the front desk on our last day so we could go to Universal again in the afternoon because our flight didn't leave until night).... It was a very short half mile walk to Universal and within 100 yards of numerous restaurants and shops... Can't beat the hotel for the price we paid!

I truly enjoyed my last stay with this hotel. The Studio Queen is very roomy for any hotel, and the full kitchen can't be beat! There's only a 2qt. pot and a fry pan, along with limited utensils, so either bring your own or go to the local store to pick up more. Having the oven and dishwasher was great too, making meals a snap. The energy saving bulbs are a bit dim for reading purposes and the cable has tendencies to go out ocassionally, mainly late at night. What the hotel lacks in kitchen equipment, it more then makes up for in comfort, friendliness and security. I stayed there with my teenage daughter for a week while looking to relocate to the area, and I'm going back to it to finish my relocation agenda next week. I Highly recommend this hotel for families, business travelers, and relocator's. The bed is to die for in any hotel! The new pillowtop mattresses feel like a cloud after a long day of walking. The pet fee is a bit high, but they are very pet friendly-as well as child friendly. You truly can't find a better deal then this unless you go across the street but the price you pay is what you'll get in the quality of the property and it's ""guests"" -plus no pets allowed. The fact that Universal Studios is literally right across the street makes it extremely convenient at the end of a long day of rides. If you want a clean, modern, secure hotel for you and your families, then you definately want to stay here!

We couldn't be happierwith the location of the hotel . We were only a few blocks from Universal.It was also nice having a ful kitchen. The hotel was a little drab in the hallways and there is no ice machine. Aside from a slight disappointment in the appearance of the hotel we would stay ther again. Because you really are only in the room to sleep.

This a very nice hotel, remodeled rooms, nice area, big rooms kitchen included with everything you need its a PLUS. they dont have roomsmaite to clean and make you bed everyday only one's a week. If you do your bed at home, you can do it here. for the price its an excellent option, remember you are going to the parks so you are going only to sleep at the hotel. If you want more service...them pay the big buck's $$$ for a Hilton. and dont complaint. Overal Im going to make my next hotel selection with extendedstayamerica.
