All in all we had a good experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from a ton of different activites and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable,spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is small with no beachfront to speak of but the views off the marina are beautiful. We are not high maintenance travelers so we don't need to be pampered but for the price you pay for the rooms it would have been nice if they'd throw in a continental breakfast. We had a cityroom view which actually looked over one of the walkways to the pool so again we were paying for location of the hotel more than anything else. I would splurge again though we had a great time.

Successful renovation. Very clean room in a very tropical decor. Some view from most rooms and good view of sunset from a small hotel dock. Only complaint about the room was that the mattresses were kind of shot and did not seem to be the Hyatt-issue super beds (but I suppose that could be a one-room problem). Soundproofing was good, which was important on a weekend night. By Hyatt standards this is a very small property, and room rates vary dramatically depending on season and what is going on. At the low end I like the place. At the high end it gets pricey. Book accordingly based on your own value scale.
