when you're staying in Atlanta, you are going to spring for a lot for parking. It is inconvenient and crowded, just get used to it. The location of the hotel was fabulous for downtown events and attractions. Very convenient to Centennial Park, Ga Aquarium. Right across from the Fox theatre. there are very few amenities, as is typical with a boutique hotel. the bathroom is truly tiny! itty bitty! very very small. the toilet will have you very friendly with the sink. no room to move around, but who stays in a hotel for the bathroom. It was a bit noisy, lots of street noise, but the hotel is nice, reasonably clean and convenient. There is a moldy, mildewy table in the shower which acts as a place for your shampoo and soap. Yuck. They should have rethought that. Starbucks coffee, which is a real plus. Not a great place if you are traveling with kids. There are NO kid friendly dishes if you are eating at the hotel.

This quaint and charming hotel is so convenient to the MARTA train station, so getting to and from the airport was a breeze and cost only $2.25 each way. The staff was very professional and friendly and recommended things to do in the area. They referred to me by name each and every time they saw me which was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The downside to the room is that it was on the end facing the street and concert goers from the Fox Theatre were very loud. Add to that a floor full of noisy Europeans who decided to throw buckets of ice on the carpet and outside one of their contemporary's room as a gag and they kept up the noise until almost midnight every night so I didn't get a peaceful night's sleep until I returned home. I'd recommend the hotel but would hope there wouldn't be noisty guests. I may stay there again but next time I'd probably see if they could change me to another location.

We have stayed a couple of times at the Blue Indigo It is a fun boutique hotel. When the weather cooperates, it is nice to sit on the porch and have a drink. There are several nice restaurants in walking distance. As it is right across the street from the Fox, it makes for a perfect for romantic weekend when attending an event at the Fox. While the bathrooms are small, the beds are big and comfy. The staff has always been very friendly. Though we live in the suburbs of Atlanta, we like to stay downtown when we attend events at the Fox, the Woodruff Arts Center, or Georgia Tech. The Blue Indigo is one of our favorites.
